Construct your Elementary Tool Chest: STEM PBL Activities for the Elementary Classroom: June 23-29, 2019 Price: $900 Do you want to have an integrated STEM experience? Are you looking to provide additional resources for your students or your school? Are you struggling to integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a way that is rigorous and creative? Aggie STEM will be hosting engineering-design driven STEM Teacher Boot Camps where teachers have the opportunity to observe research-based effective practices and participate in workshops to develop their content and pedagogical skills and create hands-on classroom based activities. In the “Construct your Elementary Tool Chest: STEM PBL Activities for the Elementary Classroom” Boot Camp, teachers will learn the engineering design process for elementary school levels and how to develop curriculum with active hands-on STEM activities to engage elementary students. Various activities including two STEM commercial curricula will be featured. This camp will focus on classroom management along with immersive elementary learning experiences. Teachers will visit active research labs on the TAMU campus, have opportunities to interact with cutting-edge researchers, and incorporate this knowledge and skills into their curriculum. All housing, transportation to and from learning activities, and meals are included in the cost. Some optional night activities will be available. Go here for more information.
